The Head of the Program is responsible for,

  • designing and further developing the content of the degree program
  • reviewing the content of the courses in consultation with the respective module coordinators, and
  • monitoring the creation of module descriptions and study plans

Academic advising and examinations board

Prof. Dr. Markus Hermann

The academic advising service is responsible for providing program-specific advice to prospective students and current students, covering a wide range of topics:

  • Study requirements
  • Study structure and content
  • Choice of elective modules
  • Planning and implementation of studies, especially in the event of difficulties due to illness

The examination board is responsible for, among other things:

  • The decision on any form of credit transfer.
  • The decision on applications for extensions of deadlines.

The Internship Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Information and advice on internships
  • Approval of training positions
  • Review of training contracts
  • Advice on problems during the internship
  • Acceptance of internship certificates and internship reports

Women’s Representative

Prof. Dr. – Ing. Anne Heß

The responsibilities of the faculty’s women’s representative include, among other things

  • Prevention and elimination of disadvantages for female students, professors, and teachers
  • Establishing equal opportunities as required by constitutional law
  • Representing women’s interests in faculty committees
  • Providing information about support opportunities for female students
  • Promoting young female academics
  • Providing advice and assistance in cases of discrimination, violence, and sexual harassment
  • Providing advice for students with children
  • Providing advice in difficult life situations
